We are Gonzalo and Carola.

An architect and a strategist who believe great design begins long before the first cut of timber.

After arriving in New Zealand, we discovered a shared passion for thoughtful design, craftsmanship and sustainability.

Together we created Andes Design to transform reclaimed timber into furniture that combines simplicity, functionality and lasting quality.

Every project begins with a question:

How can we create something beautiful while making better use of the resources already around us?

That question continues to guide everything we do.
